Davis® Programs

Our programs offer an opportunity to master a unique learning method, designed specifically for neurodivergent learners and their visual and sensory learning difference. These programs are one-on-one, intensive (5-10 days) and tailored to address individual goals. Clients learn through a multi-sensory approach and gain unique tools that help them achieve lasting effectiveness and independence in learning.

Davis® Foundations for Reading

10 half days/ 30 hours  (Ages 5-8)

This program incorporates the same gentle Davis® approach within a more flexible schedule for the young learner. It focuses on developing essential skills in letter recognition, punctuation marks and sight word mastery through engaging multi-sensory clay activities. Emphasizing self-regulation, it helps children enhance their focus, manage their energy, and reduce stress. Particularly effective for those at risk of learning challenges due to family neurodivergence, the program has been proven to be very effective in preventing potential learning difficulties in the future. It also offers thorough training for support persons, ensuring that you will be fully equipped to continue supporting your child’s educational progress once the program concludes.

Davis® Mastery for Dyslexia

5 Days/30 Hours  (Ages 8 to Adult)

The program with primary goal of improving literacy skills. It includes all Davis® tools followed by clay mastery of the alphabet and punctuation marks, reading exercises and symbol mastery procedure to eliminate the trigger words. This marks the beginning of the trigger words elimination process. Once program is completed, this process continues as independent follow-up work, typically with the support of a parent or another caregiver (Support person training is provided during the program). Visual thinkers with dyslexia recognize words as whole pictures rather than individual letters and do not naturally track letters from left to right. Reading exercises such as spell reading, sweep-sweep spell, and picture at punctuation leverage the dyslexic visual skills to improve awareness of letter sequences, decoding, and text comprehension. Additional challenges that can be addressed include spelling, handwriting, telling time, concept of right vs left, and bed-wetting

Davis® Mastery for Math

8 Days/ 48 hours (Ages 8 to Adult)

In this program, once Davis tools are learned, clients use 3D clay models to master foundational concepts, basic mathematical symbols, and math story problem trigger words. The program emphasizes recognizing and eliminating symbol triggers for confusion and disorientation within the context of mathematics. It also covers concepts fundamental to mathematical thinking, such as Self, Change, Cause & Effect, Consequence, Time, Sequence, Order, and Disorder. Understanding these concepts is crucial for a strong foundation on which other mathematical skills can be build.  The program includes 15 math exercises to build competence in fundamental computation skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, place value, and decimals.

Davis® Mastery for Attention

5 Days/30 Hours (Ages 8 to Adult)

Individuals identified as having ADD/ADHD often experience frequent disorientations, similar to those with dyslexia. Spending time in a disoriented mental state of altered perceptions can hinder the development of key life concepts such as self, change, cause and effect, consequence, sequence, time, and order and disorder. A lack of understanding of these concepts negatively impacts the development of essential executive functioning skills.

The Davis® mastery for attention program provides the same Davis® orientation and self-regulation tools, addressing disorientation and distractibility. Multi-sensory clay work is used to master and integrate key life concepts for meaningful behavioral change.

This program enhances attention, focus, organizational skills, time management, harmonious social interactions, identifying and changing self-limiting behaviors, and bed-wetting.
