Helping bright learners overcome learning differences with confidence

Licensed Davis® Facilitator in New Jersey

Joanna Suchcicka, PT, DPT, MBA, Licensed Davis® Facilitator

My  journey to becoming a Davis® Facilitator began with a deep passion for helping children and adults improve their well-being and achieve their full potential. Today, I help individuals with learning differences overcome challenges with reading, writing, math or attention by building on their unique strength and natural way of thinking.

  • Licensed Davis® Facilitator
  • 20+ years in healthcare
  • Specialized in dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences
  • 1:1 personalized programs

My work is also deeply personal. My brother struggled with undiagnosed dyslexia and ADHD for years, and I saw firsthand how a lack of understanding and proper support can impact confidence and life choices.

I’m dedicated to providing neurodivergent learners with the understanding, tools, and encouragement they need to thrive—not only academically, but also in their creativity, sense of worth, and understanding the immense value they bring to the world.

This means I don’t just focus on reading skills. I help you or your child:

  • Understand how you learn best
  • Focus
  • Self-regulate
  • Build confidence
  • Feel in control of your learning

I strive to create a calm, supportive environment where everyone feels valued and respected.  A place where you can discover your unique strengths and learn to work with your natural thinking style instead of against it.

For my own wellness,  I love spending time outdoors and with animals. On my days off you’ll find me hiking, biking, reading, practicing yoga, or meditation.  I live in New Jersey and offer both in-person and online programs, including Mastery for Dyslexia, Mastery for Attention, Mastery for Math, and the Foundations for Reading program.

Dr. Joanna Suchcicka, PT, DPT, MBA Licensed Davis® Facilitator

Welcome to Dyslexia Wellness!

Hi, my name is Joanna!

My  journey to becoming a Davis® Facilitator began with a deep passion for helping children and adults improve their well-being and achieve their full potential.

Alongside my work as a licensed Davis Facilitator, I bring 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, which has enriched my Davis work by deepening my understanding of the neurological and developmental processes that shape both physical and cognitive functions. This background allows me to provide unique and meaningful support to neurodivergent learners.

Through my own personal journey, I came to understand how deeply self-esteem shapes every aspect of our lives—how we engage with the world and pursue our dreams. I believe that developing strong literacy skills is a powerful part of self-discovery, helping individuals build a positive self-image and move confidently toward their goals.

My path to becoming a Davis Facilitator is also a personal one. My brother lived with undiagnosed dyslexia and ADHD until adulthood, and reflecting on the challenges he faced due to a lack of awareness and support has deeply shaped my mission. I’m  dedicated to ensuring that all neurodivergent learners receive the understanding, tools, and encouragement they need to thrive—not only academically, but also in their creativity, sense of worth, and understanding of the value they bring to the world.

Today, as a Licensed Davis® Facilitator, I feel privileged to offer the knowledge and tools to support individuals with learning differences. I believe that the Davis® Method provides a unique and transformative approach to dyslexia and ADHD—one that empowers learners by building on their strengths and helping them develop independence and lasting confidence in their abilities.

I also deeply value the fundamental belief of the Davis approach that dyslexia is a gift, not a deficit. This approach encourages learners to embrace their unique thinking style while equipping them with the tools that make learning effective, meaningful, and enjoyable.

For my own wellness,  I love spending time outdoors and with animals. I enjoy hiking, biking, practicing yoga, and meditation. In my work with clients, I strive to create an environment in which everyone feels respected, valued, and supported.  I live in New Jersey and offer both in-person and online programs, including Mastery for Dyslexia, Mastery for Attention, Mastery for Math, and the Foundations for Reading program.
